WHY? is maybe the biggest question in any language? Why did God move Angelica and me from our home church family of many years to The Gathering in the Mountains?  we don't have to know all of the "Why's" when we trust Jesus.

When we felt God's hand moving us our prayer were... God where do you want us?  I have to admit that was a different approach for me.  In the past when seeking a new church home it usually was "where can I be fed, and grow and serve?"  In other words "what's in it for me?"  In seeking where God would plant us we visited a lot of good churches with wonderful people and Godly pastors.  But God kept whispering "no".  When  I first heard about the Gathering during a phone conversation something in me stirred with excitement.  To this day I can't explain that.  I was excited before ever meeting Pastor Rob or attending a service.  And I continue to be excited at being a part of the Gathering.  I have no idea why that is but it is a fact.

Having experienced what the Gathering is about, I sense a great need for the mission and I'm sure God has His own purposes for the Gathering.  And He has His purposes for blessing Angelica and me to be a part of this sincere and friendly group.  We are ordinary everyday people with everyday life problems.  But we know Jesus Christ is the answer to them all.  When He doesn't immediately, or otherwise, solve the problems He is still with us 24/7 to teach us and give us the strength, perseverance and guidance we so desperately need.

We invite you to ask God where He wants you.  Maybe He would have you at the Gathering in the Mountains also. ... If you will let Him have His way.
